During 2015-16, the Bok Center created a new opportunity for graduate students to both learn about and contribute to modes of communication and creation in the classroom.  In its inaugural year, seven graduate students served as Media, Literacy, and Visualization (MLV) fellows, supporting faculty, graduate students, and Harvard College undergraduates as they experimented and engaged with a variety of modes of media and literacy.  Among their activities, MLV Fellows designed and tested creative assignments with Harvard College undergraduates, performed literature reviews, developed digital materials for use in Harvard classrooms, and offered workshops for undergraduates on the skills required for various innovative assignments faculty develop with the Learning Lab.  Many of the MLV Fellows collaborated with faculty to develop the Learning Lab projects described on this website.
