In Fall 2015, the Bok Center launched a new series of lunchtime teaching workshops that brought together Teaching Fellows from across departments. The interdisciplinary sessions were designed to answer TFs' questions and to address challenges they might encounter when teaching undergraduate sections at Harvard.  Each meeting was a combination of interactive instruction and group discussion, allowing the TFs to nuance their thinking about teaching while also troubleshooting particular issues they found themselves encountering in the classroom.

Sessions for the 2015-16 academic year included: Active Learning; Identity, Power & Difference in the Classroom; Mid-semester Reboot: Keeping Section Momentum Going; Struggling Students; Time Management; Effectively Giving Feedback Through Writing; Dealing with Grade-Obsessed Students; and How to Motivate Students.
